Take Vacation Home

Going on such unique vacations to places I have not yet seen, brings me great joy. It’s not the joy you get on Christmas when you receive those presents from the man in red. It’s not the joy you get when Thanksgiving comes around and all you care about is the food. My joy comes from all of the great people and lasting memories I have in my life. Sitting on the beach with the waves crashing on the shore my mind wanders to what it would be like if I lived here by the sea. Whenever you plan a vacation, you pick a spot where you WANT to go because you don’t get that chance everyday. The one thing that always makes its way back into my thoughts is… home. All the ocean views, scenic boat rides, and yummy restaurants does not replace what I’ve got waiting for me back home. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to go on multiple vacations this year and each time bringing home more memories that I’ll charish forever. And I’ll never get tired of returning home, knowing all the wonderful moments in my life will follow me there.
This summer if you’re taking vacation with your family or friends I encourage you to make memories. Memories that you can take home and share wth others. While going home may seem like the worst part of your vacation, only you have the power to reverse your outlook on heading home. Home is where the heart is. Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from work and school, but life has a way of making the small ordinary life into something so much bigger.
